Personal Notes

Bill and Elizabeth with their new great grandchild Hannah.

The last six months have been different. Closing down my practice and trying to develop a new ministry has been traumatic. Jeanni Snider has been a big help. She has done some of the things Sherrion did, but not all of them. She only works one day a week. Elizabeth (my wife) has volunteered to help too, so I am slowly getting things moving. They literally came to a standstill for a while.

I have a few tentative ministry engagements. The only one that is certain is the ARM conference in Columbus, Ohio over the 4th of July weekend. I will be giving a teaching on confession, repentance and forgiveness.  I also am doing an evangelism seminar at Bethel Christian Center in April. Another is possibly going to take place in Kingsport TN. It is not certain as yet.  I will do another in my home church sometime in May. It is approved, but no date has been set.

Elizabeth and I went down to Charlotte last weekend and attended a conference sponsored by Morningstar Ministries. Our Speakers were Rick Joyner, Paul Keith Davis, Richard Roberts, Ricky Skaggs, Frank Tourek and another man whose name is not available to me at present. While there I was asked to come and teach in their school, so I will probably be going back in the not too distant future.

We also visited the Billy Graham Library. It was a wonderful experience. It was arranged evangelically. When you start you view a film by a woman and a professional football player who give a partial witness. They tell you what life was like without God. Then you see a series of films describing the ministry of Billy Graham and the BGEA. When you get to the end the two people come back and tell you what Christ did in their lives. Then the viewers are offered Christ. All the way through you are shepherded by wonderfully caring volunteers. If you are ever in Charlotte, NC go see it. It is terrific.
